In a world where digital safety is paramount, DAV Public School,
Pitampura, recently took a proactive step by organizing an engaging and
interactive session on cyber safety titled "Cyber Detect and Incident
Response." This session was led by Mr. Angad Kang, CDIR Manager at KPMG,
and provided invaluable insights into the world of cybersecurity for our
students.
Mr. Kang, with his extensive expertise in cybersecurity, guided the
students through the essentials of staying safe online. He emphasized the
importance of being vigilant against cyber threats and taught the children how
to recognize potential online dangers. Through interactive discussions, he
covered essential topics, including recognizing phishing attempts, securing
personal information, and responding to cyber incidents.
Students actively participated, asking questions and sharing their
experiences, which made the session lively and informative. The interactive
nature of the session ensured that each child left with a heightened sense of
awareness about online safety and an understanding of how to protect themselves
in the digital space.
