The day was filled with vibrant energy as students and teachers, from the middle wing participated in various activities aimed at fostering empathy and breaking down misconceptions surrounding autism. Students from classes VII to IX actively participated in creating the impactful posters adorned with messages of acceptance, inclusion, and the unique strengths of individuals with autism. The process of creating these posters was itself an exercise in understanding and expressing solidarity.
We believe that creating awareness and fostering understanding are crucial steps towards building a society where differences are celebrated, and every individual is given the opportunity to thrive.

On Monday, April 7th, 2025, our school's Health and Wellness Club organized engaging activities for World Health Day. Students became Health Ambassadors, created impactful posters, and ran an awareness campaign: “Say No to Tobacco.”
Celebrating Earth Day: Students Champion Water Conservation
To commemorate Earth Day on April 22nd,
2025, the Eco Club organized a special "Prayavision" activity
dedicated to the vital issue of water conservation. This celebration of our
planet provided a platform for our enthusiastic and creative students to
express their understanding and concern for this precious resource.
Our students actively participated in celebrating Earth Day by sharing their perspectives through various creative mediums:-
· Essays: Students thoughtfully explored the critical impact of water scarcity and the urgent need to protect our natural water sources, demonstrating their awareness of this important environmental concern.
· Slogans: Catchy and impactful slogans were created, inspiring our school community to save water and use it wisely, highlighting the importance of responsible consumption.
· Poems: Through their creative writing, students beautifully articulated the significance of water, the potential consequences of its scarcity, and the various ways we can all contribute to its conservation efforts.
· Paintings: The artistic talents of our students brought to life powerful visuals depicting the impact of water scarcity, the beauty of healthy water ecosystems, and the essential actions we can take to conserve this vital resource.
This
Earth Day celebration, through the "Prayavision" activity focused on
water conservation, showcased the environmental consciousness and creative
spirit of our students. It served as a meaningful reminder of our shared
responsibility to protect and cherish our planet's resources.

Celebrating Our Roots and Inspiring Futures: Foundation Day Shines!
DL D.A.V. Model School, Pitampura recently celebrated its Foundation Day on April 12th, 2025, a momentous occasion to reflect on our journey and look forward to the future. As part of the celebrations, the students of classes VII, VIII, and IX showcased their eloquence and critical thinking skills in a captivating extempore competition on the following topics.

The students of classes VII, VIII, and IX also poured their creativity onto paper, designing expressive posters that captured the essence of the Foundation Day spirit and the themes of the extempore competition. These visual representations added another layer of vibrancy to the event.
It was a proud moment for the school, showcasing the intellectual curiosity and talent nurtured within our classrooms. As we celebrated our Foundation Day, this event served as a powerful reminder of the bright future our students are building and the enduring legacy of our school.

Investiture Ceremony...MIDDLE WING
The Investiture Ceremony is a platform to showcase the leadership skills and abilities of our students and is the most prestigious ceremony in the schedule of school events.
The Investiture ceremony for the session 2025-26 was held in the school. The day began with the chanting of GAYATRI MANTRA... and meditation
It was a solemn occasion where the newly elected Council Members were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school.
The newly elected School Council comprising the Head boy, Head girl, Deputy Head boy / girl , Secretary , Floor Incharges House Prefects , Captains and Vice Captains marched smartly onto the stage to the beat of the drum.
The house incharges and teachers also marched ahead depicting the house colors and handed the house flags to our principal ma'am..
Principal ma'am presented the newly elected Council Members titled sashes and badges. The newly elected office bearers took the oath and pledged to work earnestly and uphold the honor and glory of the school.
Last but not the least, Principal ma'am addressed the assemblage and spoke on leadership qualities, values and devotion to be shown by the students .
The programme ended with the National Anthem. It was a memorable occasion for the young leaders as they looked forward to a new, eventful, and enriching academic year.

On 24th April, the school community came together with hearts full of gratitude and admiration to honour the retirement of Mrs. Simmi Mahajan, our esteemed Supervisory Incharge of the Nursery Wing.
The special assembly, presented by the
students of the Middle Wing,
was a heartfelt tribute to a mentor whose nurturing presence and dedicated
service have touched countless lives.
The programme
began with a soulful invocation, followed by a series of vibrant performances
by the students. Dances, songs, and speeches beautifully captured the essence
of Mrs. Mahajan’s journey—her quiet strength, gentle guidance, and unwavering
commitment to early childhood education. Each segment reflected the love and
respect she has earned from every corner of the school.
Teachers and students alike shared memories and expressed how Mrs. Mahajan had been more than just an educator—she was a mentor, a friend, and a source of constant inspiration.
Principal
Mrs. Anupama Sinha expressed her
heartfelt appreciation for Mrs. Mahajan’s years of exemplary service and her
deep-rooted impact on the school’s foundation. She commended her for being a
true role model and wished her a peaceful, joyful, and well-deserved retired
life.
As Mrs.
Mahajan embarks on this new chapter, we celebrate the remarkable legacy she
leaves behind. Her name will always be synonymous with grace, dedication, and
compassion.

service. You will always be cherished as the gentle hand that helped shape the
future—one tiny step at a time.

DLDAVPP celebrated annual event Annual Expo 2025 on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. The event stood as a vibrant celebration of student innovation, scientific curiosity, and collaborative learning. It brought together students, educators, and experts to explore ideas that align with a future rooted in peace and progress.
The Expo was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. BISWAJIT SAHA, DIRECTOR (SKILL EDUCATION & TRAINING) CBSE, as the Chief Guest. He commended the school’s visionary approach in seamlessly integrating skill development with academic learning. In his address, Dr. Saha emphasized the significance of such platforms in fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students — a direction that aligns perfectly with CBSE’s holistic education vision.The central themes of the Expo were:-
Students showcased a wide range of subject-based and thematic exhibits, along with engaging performances, in their respective classrooms.
Expo 2025 proved to be a powerful showcase of what young minds can achieve when given the right environment. The themes explored not only mirrored pressing global issues but also highlighted the role of our students as informed, innovative, and responsible citizens of tomorrow.
