  CLASS ASSEMBLY CLASSES VIII F AND G DATE: 29/8/2023 THEME: RAKHI SE RAKSHA TAK CLASS: 8 F (CT-Ms Seema Manoj) & G (CT- Ms Shivani Gera) On 29th August 2023, the students of classes 8 F & G had their class assembly of the new session 2023-24 on a beautiful theme “Rakshabandhan- Rakhi se Raksha Tak”. The students were energized to be a part of it.  “Rakhi se Raksha Tak" was a captivating play that celebrated the essence of Rakshabandhan across various time periods. In Scene 1, Draupadi and Krishna's bond was portrayed, emphasizing the legendary origin of Rakhi. Scene 2 showcased Humayun and Karnawati, illustrating historical instances of protection and care. Transitioning to modern life, Scene 3 depicted a touching moment of a brother and sister tying Rakhi, followed by Scene 4 where two sisters exchange Rakhi, highlighting the diversity of relationships. APJ Abdul Kalam The class assembly held by classes 8D and 8E on 22 August 2023 was an inspiring and heartfelt tribute to the renowned scientist, educator, and former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The assembly commenced with a warm welcome by the hosts, setting the tone for the event. The students demonstrated their deep admiration for Dr. Kalam through a series of performances that were both informative and entertaining.                                    INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION DATE: 12/8/23 WE GOT OUR FREEDOM AFTER A LOT OF SACRIFICE; WE SHOULD NEVER TAKE IT FOR GRANTED. “Citizenship consists in the service of the country”    – Jawaharlal Nehru Celebrating Independence Day is integral to the life of every Indian since 15 August 1947 when India got Independence after a struggle of several years. On this Day, we salute our martyrs who laid their lives for the defense of the country.   DLDAV Model School  has always taken initiative in reaching out to the students by imparting a sense of patriotism to them.
