CLASSES VII- IX

THEME: Building Our Legacy

Foundation Day is a designated date on which celebrations mark the founding of a nation, state or a creation of a unit. To celebrate the beginning of our school, different activities were conducted for different classes. All the students participated enthusiastically. The activities for the different classes are as follows:

Class 7 - Legacy in Pieces : A mosaic tribute to our school ● Create a mosaic collage using small pieces of coloured paper,fabric or recycled materials like pieces of magazines . ● Each piece should represent a different aspect of the school's history or values. 

MATERIAL REQUIRED -COLOURED A4 SHEETS, SKETCHPENS ,ORIGAMI SHEETS , FABRIC ,RECYCLED MATERIALS ETC. 

Class 8 - LOGO EVOLUTION : REINVENTING OUR LEGACY ● REDESIGN THE SCHOOL LOGO - It should incorporate elements that represent the school’s ethos , achievements and aspirations. 

MATERIAL REQUIRED- A-4 SIZE SHEET , COLOURED SKETCH PENS, OTHER EMBELLISHMENTS LIKE SEQUINS , BEADS ,GLITTER ETC. 

Class 9 - FOOTPRINTS OF TIME : A MURAL JOURNEY THROUGH OUR SCHOOL'S HISTORY ● The students will create a timeline Mural depicting significant events (atleast three) in the school's history. ● They can illustrate key milestones accompanied by brief description or captions / tagline . 

MATERIAL REQUIRED- A4 sized sheet , coloured sketch pens ,sequins,glitter Origami sheets

EXPO 2023 DATE: 19, 20 MAY 2023 CLASSES - VII, VIII AND IX  We at DLDAV PITAMPURA witnessed Expo 2023 on 19 and 20 May 2023. We celebrated 'INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF MILLETS' in our Annual event Expo 2023. The event was graced by the Eminent Chief Guest Mr. Rajat Sharma, Chairman and Editor- in- chief, India TV and Dr. Harsh Mahajan, Chairman of the school. It was a platform where students showcased their extra ordinary talent and learnt a lot from the event.   Students from classes VII to IX chose different themes and topics as follows: Class 9 Class 8 Class 7 The event was supported with dances, songs, acts, poems and many more attractions. This was witnessed by various guests and parents who admired the student's work and enthusiasm. There were eatables and take-away for them. The event was filled with energy.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

 INVESTITURE CEREMONY CLASSES VII- IX DATE: 18/4/23 DLDAV organised the Investiture ceremony for the classes VII- IX. Principal ma'am addressed the assembly and congratulated the council members. She handed over the flag to the head boy. Head girl and boy along with the other council members took the oath for following the school rules and regulations.
