EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES (VII-IX)

  ROCKSPORT Classes VII- VIII DATE: 6/12/2023 Rocksport is conducted in the school premises annually. It is a fun filled event with various adventure activities for children. Rocksport is an adventure-based research organization, continuously involved in the process of finding innovative uses of adventure activities in the positive transformation of an individual. Through a plethora of workshops, services and events, Rocksport helps to achieve what we want. S ynonymous with safety, reliance and professionalism deriving its strength from the dynamism of its team, which consists of highly qualified professionals, who have undertaken an initiative to redefine the parameters of learning, entertainment &  servicing to a whole new level.

ASTRONOMY NIGHT- SKY OBSERVATION DATE: 19/12/23 Students at DLDAV MODEL SCHOOL enroll themselves in Astronomy club to get acquainted with the space. Various sessions are organised by the club, out of which one session is Observing the Night Sky.  Students were told about various activities that take place in the night sky. Then they were shown different planets like Jupiter and Saturn along with their moons and our moon too. They also observed artificial satellites that revolves around earth. 

ANNUAL PICNIC CLASSES VII- IX MADHAVGARH FARMS DATE: 6/12/23 Nothing better than eating a good meal under blue skies.... enjoy your Picnic.. Annual Picnic for the students of DLDAV Model School, Pitampura, was organised at Madhavgarh farms. MADHAVGARH FARM, the majestic gesture of beauty surrounding with nature's full glory, gives you enlivening experience. Representation of Rajasthani and Haryanvi culture in a modernized way is mesmerizing, and it is all presented by Madhavgarh. Children , on reaching, were given the welcome drink along with the breakfast. this was followed by various fun filled activities like dance, adventure, rural activities, cultural activities,  games and sports. this was followed by lunch and snacks. It was a fun-filled day.  

JANJATIYA GAURAV  DIVAS DATE: 25/11/23 Government of India has declared 15th November as Janjatiya Gaurav Divas dedicated to the memory of brave tribal freedom fighters. Our school is celebrated Janjatiya Gaurav Divas,a Government of India initiative, on the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda on November 25, Saturday, 2023. To mark the occasion & to create awareness amongst the students, Modesty House conducted the following activities for the classes VII to IX in the Zero period. 1. A Presentation related to the divas  was shown on the e- board  to the  students.  2. A Creative Slogan Writing Activity was done in respective classrooms.    All the students participated in the activity with great enthusiasm.

BOOK WEEK 30 OCTOBER- 4 NOVEMBER CLASS VII               "A ROOM WITHOUT BOOKS IS LIKE A BODY WITHOUT A SOUL" Book week was organised in our school along with the Book Fair by Scholastic. Students of class VII actively participated in the activity. Each section of class VII showcased two stories by any author. Different stories were chosen by by the classes and displayed very well.
