EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES (VII-IX)

HEALTH CLUB of DLDAVPP organised 'MASK MAKING ACTIVITY' using home made material for class IV -X on 20th April 20. The students of class VII-IX made beautiful masks creating awareness against COVID -19. Their effort was appreciated by all the teachers and parents.  

  On the eve of 'WORLD EARTH DAY', Poster making activity and T-Shirt Designing Activity were conducted in the sub-senior wing. The students made beautiful posters and designed their T-shirts artistically and conveyed their love and responsibility towards MOTHER EARTH. The efforts of the students were appreciated by one and all.

  For the first time in its history, DLDAV MODEL SCHOOL PITAMPURA organised the 'INVESTITURE CEREMONY for SUB-SENIOR WING on virtual platform. It was one of its own kind of ceremony wherein the council members pledged to serve the school virtually and fulfill all the responsibilities designated to them by the honourable principal madam, Ms Anita Wadehra.  LIST OF COUNCIL MEMBERS WITH DESIGNATIONS

  National Mathematics Day was celebrated on 22nd December 2020 by the students of class IX. Each class was divided into groups and each group was assigned a topic for their presentation. The students and the teachers enjoyed and gained a lot from this activity. They also remembered the contribution of Mathematics Genius, SRINIVASA RAMANUJAN.        DL DAV MODEL SCHOOL, PITAMPURA organised virtual havan for class VIII  to bless them with the divine virtues . The havan was attended by honourable Incharge Madam, Ms Seema Sharma; Coordinators, Ms Vinita Sambher and Ms Mona Virmani alongwith the Class teachers of Class VIII and their respective students. The grandparents of some students also graced the Havan with their presence.  Everyone enchanted  Gayatri Mantra, Havan Mantras and Shanti Path. All the grandparents were elated to be a part of the Virtual Havan. They praised the effort of the school of imparting the virtues through this event. It’s the will to prepare to win that matters.” "Only he who can see the invisible can do the impossible.” – The quote  very abruptly applies to the true sportsperson whose talent not only wins games, but outstanding sportsmanship with teamwork and intelligence wins championships.  With this inspiring thought and sporting spirit DLDAV MODEL SCHOOL PITAMPURA  organises  SPORTSMANIA ,   a plethora of physical activities under the Initiative of “The Fit India Movement” and was inaugurated  virtually on 14th December 2020.
